We have 3 cats at the moment:
Charlie - Female - 13 - Mummies Baby!
Sam - Male - Age unknown but Adult!
Vangelis - Male (Update - He is actually a she!) - 9 Months - The baby!
Charlie moved over from England with us, I was very worried something would happen to her on the flight (via Athens) such as they would loose her lol but she was fine and loves Crete.
She came to live with us when she was 6 and a half , we rescued her from a shelter and is my baby girl, who I love so much. She is very talkative and very clever, sleeps on my bed most nights. She is a great rat catcher, when we first moved to Crete she would catch at least 1 rat every night, now its more like 1 or 2 a year as she has killed the entire village rat population!!
Sam is such a softy! So unlike a tom cat, he is father of Vangelis.
Sammy was rescued from a car hire yard where my Dad works, there were 13 stray cats their at one point but we couldnt rescue everyone 
Sam loved the babies and would lay on top of them at night in the yard to keep them warm and just generally looked after them. He is very loving and friendly to humans also so we think he did have a home but got chucked out. (Greeks as a whole are not animal lovers, of course you get the odd exception of animal lovers!) He has a problem with his nose and throat, coughs a lot and sneezes a lot with snot like…….. super glue!! Very messy, never stand near him when he is coughing of you get covered (As Vangelis found out one day lol) But of course we love him snot or no snot!
(Yes he is laying on the radiater and yes it was on…. What’s the burning smell?!)
Vangellis - The baby boy of the family! He has the same background as Sam, we think his Mother got killed on the road when he was only a couple of months old. He was in such a state when we got him and Sam home, so thin, dehydrated, diahorrea and just in a sorry state. He was so cute though, so tiny as well - I thought I would break him when I picked him up. He is still small now, nearly a year old, but its understandable when he wasnt getting the right food or mums milk as a baby. He loves cardboard boxes so gets a new one every time food shopping is done in town! He has latched on to my Dad more than me, Possibly cos he spent more time with Dad than me in the beginning but he is learning that I am just as good and quite a soft touch! So yes, Kitten Van has 2 Dads, 1 human Dad and one Sam Dad plus an Auntie Charlie! Of course cos he is so cute, and small and had a hard time in the beginning he gets away with murder
