As you know from the previous post, we were expecting kittens.

Yesterday Van gave birth (we think 2 or 3 weeks early) to 3 kittens, they were dead. The 4th kitten was born 16hours later and was also dead.
They have been buried in the garden and we will place a plant in there place as a memorial.
We are all feeling rather sad here. Van is doing ok except she has a temperature, is exhausted and is obviously upset / unsure as to where her babies went.
I love her so much now, 100 times more if that is possible and will of course do all I can to comfort her and make her well again.

Any people who don’t have pets will think I am totally mad! But for you people with dogs, cats and any other pet, I’m sure you can understand how I’m feeling right now…
