Good old Crete and it’s electricity… We had a power cut tonight, for no apparent reason other than a little bit of rain.
I wasn’t impressed as I was halfway through uploading my website and no electric means no internet. I updated the “featured item” and took the January Sale off, hence I needed to upload all 350 pages, which takes a little while!
Anyway, I guess on a good note because I had no internet I was “forced” to have a sort out on the laptop, I ended up reading a great ebook about conversions and sales and now have a few more ideas for Emelegifts.
In my opinion we have far too many powercuts over here, it’s quite weird too, we can have gale like winds and storms and the electric stays on and then for no reason it goes off… I guess that’s one thing I wont miss when i’m back in the U.K!!
In the summer the fire engines come out and hose the power lines down… I guess so they don’t overheat and catch fire causing even bigger power cuts and problems. That can be quite funny to watch, well unless you’re standing underneath cos then you get wet lol.
While i’m on about all this electricity I have to tell you about the power station, for some reason the power station is right next to the oil storage tanks, the oil refinery, which is right next to the main highway. I always drive faster through that part incase there’s a big bang and the whole lot goes up
Ok, enough of Crete and the electricity…
