It is sooooo hot here at the moment in Crete. 40C today and yesterday, thats about 104F. I’m not going outside before 7pm if I can help it, but even then it’s still so humid, no breeze and it just feels…. not nice, like you can’t breath.
The cats are doing ok, Charlie doesn’t mind the heat and will lay outside in the shade (not that the shade feels any cooler) sleeping. While Van will lay inside with me with the air-conditioning on. Considering Van is the Greek cat and Charlie the English cat I feel theres something not quite right about that, Van should be used to it! My friend then pointed out that Van is sensible being Greek and that the English are silly and always lay out in the sun getting as fried as possible. He has a point!
It’s 1.38pm now and i’m thinking about going for a siesta. I should really do some more work but I feel very sleepy. I didn’t go to bed until 4am because of the heat….. so I guess I can just work late again tonight.
The joys of living on a Greek Island eh?!!
