So I kept this rather quiet but I entered a photo into a contest…

The contest was entitled “The Sacred” and I entered this photo —

I came 82nd out of 165 so I am rather pleased. It’s not even that good a photo, a bit grainy/blurry so yay! You can see all the The Sacred Challenge Results at the dpchallenge site.

The contests are constantly changing and you don’t win anything it’s just…. well I suppose a sort of critique thing, you can comment and rate each others photos, if you don’t follow the rules you get disqualified and if you come first, second or third you get a ribbon put next to the photo. It’s a good learning experience… I’m hooked with rating everyone’s photos and thinking wow wish I could take photos like that!
