I started making my Christmas cards for friends and family last night - 1 down however many more to go! Sometimes I can’t get inspired to make cards for “me”…. it’s different when it’s for emelegifts, people are buying them and appreciate them otherwise they wouldnt buy them in the first place but with friends/family I wonder if a pack of store bought cards would do…. Still designs I test out on family one year usually end up as being Christmas designs on Emelegifts the next year so it’s not all bad. Once they are all made and sent out I will show you pics.
Talking of Christmas cards I received a lovely email from a lady who bought some cards back in September —
“Dear Emily, I made the time to write you because I was that impressed with your Christmas cards, they are absolutely lovely! I make a lot of my holiday cards, but I knew this year I wasn’t going to be able to get them all done. Yours are so gorgeous that I can’t wait to send them out, my friends & family are going to be thrilled with them! I couldn’t be more pleased with my order.” — Cathy J. Christopher - U.S.A
Messages like that make it all worthwhile
Other news - I started working on a website for my photography, gradually building that in my spare time, i.e 11.30pm after I’ve gone through the emails and the photo sites to see how many downloads I’ve had that day. Yea, I’m a night person and don’t do mornings!
