While I was browsing around online I came across this website, Destination: Unknown, they have handmade travel journals which I think are simply stunning.
The trouble I have with journals / notebooks (the paper kind not the computer kind!) is that I’m scared of ruining them. So pretty to look at and then I’m like well I want to be sure I don’t mess this up by writing utter rubbish and making spelling mistakes etc etc etc. So that stops me from using them and they sit there in my bedroom loved but totally unused.
I’m the same with scrapbooking, I have all these nice papers that I sit and look at but don’t use them cos I don’t want to spoil them! I have found a way around that though - digital scrapbooking! If I mess up I just press undo, yay!
I know that I should just get on with it and write something or stick something to the journal/papers and it will be fine but I just can’t get through that “fear” stage.
So anyway, I love those travel journals! They would make lovely gifts as well, especially since Christmas is coming up fast.
Maybe I will treat myself to one as well and actually use it… one day!!
