The first post of 2008! Happy New Year Everyone 
Normally I don’t bother with a New Years Resolution as there’s nothing I need / want to give up, I don’t “do” diets and if I want to start something it can be on any day of any month. But this year is different…. I wouldnt call them resolutions as such more….. goals / aims…. a continuous to do list maybe.
You see, Since I did so well with my clearing out of emails / computer docs (I’m down to 20 emails in hotmail from the 400+ I had! Super pleased with myself I also got my hundreds of favorited sites categorized so now I can find things and and and… sorted out some hardrive files so…. cos I’ve done all of that my resolution / aim / to do list is not to get so cluttered up again!
Let me write it all down here properly…

My Aims / Goals / “To Do’s” for 2008.
To Create Everyday - Be it digital art, crafting, doodling - Anything!
Finish What I Start - No more bouncing around from one project to the next and not finishing anything. I do bounce around a lot, I think it’s who I am - That’s not bad but must be controlled!
When I start making something - Finish it! When I make it, actually put it on the website!
Promote Promote Promote. Regularly!
Spend 1 day a week doing “catch up” things - This can be sorting out emails and deleting / doing something about them. Finishing off projects. Doing extra promotion. Planning the week ahead…
Get “proper” people reading this blog and commenting. I get far to much blog spam at the moment….. where are all the nice, normal people?! If you are reading this say Hi - Let me know you are out there!
Make an email list of past customers to stay in touch. Get permission first and change my privacy policy.
As emails come in sort them - Delete or Read & Do. Do Not save them to go back to!!! (This applies to my hotmail account only with newsletter subscriptions etc… I’m totally ok with business emails incase any one thought I had a backlog of important customer emails!)
Do Projects in Whole not Tiny Steps - I.E Take a whole day / week to do one project.

Hmmm quite a lot of stuff….. I guess this was everything that was bugging me through 2007 and/or that I knew I could do better with / needed to sort out. Really, i’m not disorganized I just… like to do 101 things at once!
I keep mentioning projects don’t I… they can be anything from creating a new page on emelegifts such as a website form or creating those inserts for the cards. To finishing up cards and gifts or making promo items. Finishing off my photography website… Tweaking the web-services site umm yea the list is endless.
So……. lets see how I do
