It’s Here!!! 
So the camera didn’t arrive on Wednesday maybe because of the Greek holiday or just because of general Greek slowness but it was at the post office on Friday. All in one piece thank goodness!
So Friday turned into test the camera out day - atleast until the free batteries included ran out - they only lasted 3 hours but the rechargable ones I have in now seem to last longer so that’s good. I’m not overly keen on AA batteries in cameras but atleast they are sold everywhere so if I do happen to need another set i’ll be safe…
There are lots of buttons and things to twist and press that I have no idea what they do… plenty of room to “grow”! So I have been practising on the auto setting so far… Macro was rather hit or miss to begin with cos the I’m used to the lens adjusting itself all on it’s own but I think I have the hang of it now
I think the biggist novelty at the moment is the 2gb memory card…. it holds 950 photos on the highest setting - quite a novelty compared with the old cam that would only hold 30! (I was to stingy to buy a bigger card for the olympus)
I haven’t edited/resized any of the pics yet but as soon as I do I will post some here.
