Dreaming of…
an Egg?!!
This is so funny I just have to share it with you!
I was in that strange sleep place where you’re only half asleep and for some strange reason I thought I was holding an egg. A chicken egg. It was resting in the palm of my hand when I “felt” it roll off my hand… the next thing I know I’m awake and thinking oh my god I’ve broken the egg.
That’s where normal peoples dreams would end right? No not me I have this thing where I then take my bed apart looking for snakes, spiders and now eggs lol.
So I was feeling around in the bed for this egg hoping it wouldnt have broken but expecting to touch the slimy eggy goo at any moment. Well I couldn’t find it in the dark so I thought I might have better luck searching for it with the light on. Looked under my pillows…. no egg. Felt down the side of my bed… nothing. So then I thought well I don’t know… It’s the middle of the night, I’m not doing anymore egg hunting now, I’ll deal with it in the morning.
Of course in the morning when I did remember my dream I was laughing so hard I had tears running down my face.
A missing egg makes a change from the snake dream though, usually I’ll be half asleep when I think there’s a snake in the bed sliding over me so I sit up ready to freak out, put the light on and then realise it’s all in my head. I used to take my bed apart looking for it but its happened so often now that as soon as I put the light on I realise it’s all ok – Go back to sleep!
I must look and see what an eggs stands for in my dream book….
