Raining Cats… Not Dogs.
It rained so much last night and yesterday, it felt more like October than May.
I was forever drying the cats who A: wanted to go out in it and then appeared to walk about in it until they couldn’t get any wetter. B: Had to go outside because they were bored and I couldn’t do anything with them to get them under control in the house!
Thankfully it has now stopped raining and 90% of the kitty cats are outside with the other 10% asleep indoors. Lol yea so many now I’ve started referring to them in percentages
We might be hearing the pitter patter of tiny paws again rather soon… Oops.
It’s not my fault!! Cleo went to the vets for the contraceptive injection because she’s a modern girl and we thought that was easier and better than having her spayed ‘cos when Van (Evangelina) had her operation she was very poorly afterwards.
Anyway the vet said he’d never known a cat get pregnant when they’d had the injection… but she looks pretty pregnant to me. Big belly, sticky out nipples… I guess we wait and see if any baby cats appear!
Also to add to the cat saga / drama Stella reapeared the other night. That’s Cleo’s mummy who hasn’t been seen for 8 months since she decided Cleo was old enough to be left here with us while she went off and did her own cat life thing.

Now the thing with Stella is….. Is she back because she’s gonna have kittens again and remembered how last year the nice English people looked after her and adopted her babies. Or is she just here to help her daughter with the birth and act as grandmother?
Are you following all this? It gets rather confusing I know!
The worse part is I’m not going to be here to get to know the new arrivals… if there are any. Plus we already have a full house. But how do you turn them away?
