Scott Returns
Good news, flat news and a rant…
Scott is back home! After going missing for 8 days he decided he’d better return home for Fathers Day! My Dad rang to say he was home safely and I spoke to him… the cat that is… to say don’t scare us like that again. Extremely glad he’s home – I was blaming myself and feeling very sad.
The flat… Danny went to see it and said it was in a rough area and he wasn’t like… omg omg we have to live there. So Friday night we’d more or less decided No it’s not the one. Then over the weekend I emailed tons more and the only one that sounded suitable also sounded slightly… Nigerian scammish… (the owner is in Italy… hard for him to get back to the UK…. please forward the money… lol umm no) and it’s also in a worse area than the first property. Soooo right now we’re back to square one with the flat Danny boy went to view back at the top of the list. We’ll see what develops this week!
The bank (lloyds tsb) are still messing about with my business account. It should take 5 days to get it all open and up and running. Well on Thursday I will have been waiting for a month. It would seem the man I went to see didn’t know what he was doing when he was filling in the forms (or wasn’t concentrating as he was very chatty) because I had a letter on Saturday saying please could I sign something because they did it wrong the first time. And also could I take in proof of address because they forgot to get that off of me the first time. It’s taken them 3 weeks to work this out. Not Impressed.
So there you go… Will be pleased once everything is sorted since right now I’m kind of in no mans land… and am getting bored of waiting!
